Transnational Meeting at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
On the 17th and 18th November we finally had our first ever face-to-face translational meeting, at the UAB, within the framework of elPetit festival (organized by laSala). Members of UAB, Bath SPA University, Università di Bologna, Universitetet I Stavanger and laSala could catch up on the different intellectual output, have a global view of INTERSTICE and work jointly.
More specifically, we had a work session on the six main concept of the project: creativity, critical thinking, co-creation, aesthetic environment, inclusive space of encounter and artistic languages. Starting with images by Catalan artists, we thought about our definitions of these concepts; their keywords; the most relevant authors who have worked on these concepts; and how we have been worked on these concepts, from our singular projects. The results of these group reflection session will feed one the main intellectual output of the project: a methodological guide for teachers, students, artists and cultural organizations, which will help them developing their own hybrid projects between Art and Education.
Finally, we agreed on the next transnational meetings. The next one will be held in Bologna, in March 2022.
